- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪I took my daughter in today to have her fingers look at. She injured them while doing volunteer work. They ask me for Workman comp. I told them that volunteers doesn’t have Workman comp and that we will have to use our personal insurance and whatever the insurance doesn’t cover the volunteer place will cover it. They ask me to ask for that in writing from the volunteer place. But my contact person at the volunteer place is out of office until Friday. So they refused to see my daughter. They said it’s for my own protection. But for what protection? I just want a doctor to look at my daughter’s hand.January 05, 2017by Wai Cheng
